The gardens of the hotel were absolutely stunning, and we enjoyed spending time there, especially during Christmas. It felt like being in a winter wonderland with all the beautiful decorations and lights. the hot spring provided a much-needed relaxation after a long day of sightseeing. The quality of the hot spring water was excellent, leaving us feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. We also appreciated the helpful and friendly staff who were always ready to assist us with any requests.
One major drawback was the lack of transportation options to and from the hotel. It would have been more convenient if the hotel provided free shuttles to the nearest train station or city center.

We had a wonderful time at a Japanese hotel. the location was perfect - serene, peaceful and beautiful. Our room was quite spacious and had a small fridge, and the screen television was perfect for our romantic evenings in. the highlight was the private hot spring bath in our room that provided a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.
The language barrier was quite a challenge as none of the staff spoke English. the breakfast buffet was mostly made up of Japanese food items and we would have appreciated more variety.

We had an amazing time at this hotel. The gardens are one of the top three in Japan and felt like a sightseeing spot itself. The onsen was incredibly relaxing, and the staff were very friendly and always ready to help. We were particularly grateful that they arranged for Chinese-speaking staff right from the moment we checked in. The quality of the dinner and breakfast was excellent, and the private room for dinner added a special touch to our dining experience. Moreover, we were incredibly lucky to have a room from where we could see the breathtaking Fuji mountain in the morning.
Nothing all good.

The hotel is situated in a stunning setting reminiscent of European beautiful gardens, providing a truly picturesque and delightful atmosphere to enjoy. the rooms, although a little worn and dated, are spacious and offer the unique experience of sleeping on tatami mats on the floor. the breakfast buffet consists of a variety of Japanese food options, ensuring a satisfying and authentic culinary experience. the hotel boasts a top 3 Japanese garden in Japan, offering a peaceful and scenic retreat to explore and relax.
One downside is that the hotel lacks free shuttles to and from the nearest JR station.
